Decorating the Easter tree is a tradition born in Northern Europe which, in recent years, has also spread to Italy. The Easter tree is also called the "tree of life" because it represents the Resurrection of Jesus and the redemption of man. It is therefore a religious symbol, unlike the Christmas tree which, on the other hand, is a pagan symbol.
It is not necessary to spend a lot but have a lot of creativity!
FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MAKE IT AT HOME HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED:
The branches of olive, peach, cherry of your choice. A large enough vase, various decorations (bunnies, eggs, bees, flowers). You can buy them already made or make them.
To make the classic Easter tree, use polystyrene eggs or real ones carefully washed and emptied.
When it's time to paint them, get your children to help. Once painted, let them dry and insert twine or colored ribbons into the hole to hang them.
For the most romantic, the tree with the little thoughts is ideal: instead of colored eggs you can use cards made in different shapes and colors.
On each you can write some little thoughts that, one a day, you can read all together.
If you have olive branches available you can create a tree in the name of tradition. You can hang bows or hearts.
Or the protagonists of your tree could be bunnies and chicks of various sizes and colors, adding some lights will make everything more magical!
