What we propose today is a very simple juice but with surprising properties.
Let's start with the first advantage of the ingredients:
- Apples: a famous saying goes: "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". It is not just popular wisdom, in fact many studies confirm its benefits, thanks to the content of sugars, fats and vitamins B1 and B2 it helps fight fatigue and reduce bad cholesterol (LDL). Any variety is fine, just choose according to your taste!
- Carrots : the most famous are those characterized by the typical orange color and therefore rich in vitamin A. On the market there are also purple ones with well-known antioxidant properties. They are rich in alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, mineral salts, vitamins and fibers. They have healing and antiseptic properties, excellent for gastrointestinal problems, they purify the liver and kidneys and counteract free radicals .
- Ginger : in particular we are talking about its root which has anti-inflammatory properties and strengthens the immune system . Again it helps to control blood cholesterol levels.
The second advantage is certainly that of producing a tasty juice at home made up of fruit only and without the addition of preservatives and added sugars. In this way you do not buy disposable packaging and also helps the environment.
But how is it prepared?

3 large carrots
fresh ginger (a small piece of about 5 centimeters)
Cut the fruit and the ginger root into pieces and place them inside the juicer or extractor. Alternatively, use a blender for apples and carrots and then filter the drink obtained. At the end add a grated ginger.
To fully enjoy its properties, immediately enjoy the juice to avoid oxidation and, why not, also to enjoy an excellent aperitif.
