Do you need a boost of energy?
Let's prepare a snack together to enjoy wherever you want.
The recipe is very simple and very few ingredients are enough.
It is a bar made with dates, nuts and oat flakes.
Dates are a suitable nutrient source for all consumers, especially sportsmen or athletes. Since every athlete's goal is to improve athletic performance and prevent energy deficit, the use of dietary supplements is highly recommended as is the intake of "superfoods". The date falls into this category due to its high content of vitamins and minerals.
Walnuts are rich in polyunsaturated fats ( omega-3 , omega-6 and omega-9) which, not being produced by our body, must be taken with the diet and have a positive effect on lowering LDL cholesterol.
Oats are rich in vitamins, minerals, vitamin B1 (thiamine), iron , phosphorus and beta-glucans that help control cholesterol levels.
Here are the ingredients of this "raw" recipe without cooking.
INGREDIENTS:
- 200 grams of dates
- 75 grams of walnut kernels
- 70 grams of rolled oats
- Water to taste
METHOD:
Stone the dates and put them in a blender jug. Blend them together with a little water (it depends on the types of dates used) until you get a smooth cream. Add the walnuts and blend for a few seconds. At the end, add the oat flakes and knead until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes and then spread it on a sheet of baking paper to form a rectangle and create a uniform thickness with the help of a rolling pin. Cut into small rectangles and leave the bars obtained in the freezer to rest for at least 1 hour.
Now they are ready to be "wrapped" with parchment paper and to be enjoyed!
In the refrigerator they last about a week. In order to keep them longer, keep them in the freezer and consume them as needed.
An authentic energy to give you the right energy!
