RECIPE: FISHING COLD TEA

It is possible to prepare this drink following two distinct preparation methods: cold infusion and hot infusion.

Before proceeding, however, it is good to get some tea leaves, it is advisable to buy those loose and not in sachets, in order to obtain a more decisive and quality taste. On the market it is possible to find ready-made blends with dehydrated fruit inside (peach, lemon, mango, papaya, orange) that already gives the tea the chosen taste and aroma.

INGREDIENTS

  • 20 grams tea leaves or blend
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 tablespoon of erythritol or to taste
  • 1 sliced ​​peach
  • 1/2 lemon, juice

HOT INFUSION

Pour into a bowl of water (about 1 liter) and dissolve the erythritol . Bring to a boil and once reached add 20 grams of tea leaves or the chosen mixture to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea leaves and add the slices of a peach and leave to infuse with the hot tea for 30 minutes. After removing the fruit, add the juice of half a lemon. Allow to cool and then bottle and keep refrigerated.

COLD INFUSION

Leave the tea leaves or the chosen mixture to infuse in a liter of water for about 2-3 hours together with the peach slices. Place the container in the refrigerator and after the infusion time, remove the tea leaves and fruit by filtering it. Sweeten the tea with a spoonful of erythritol . Also add the juice of 1/2 lemon.
