INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams of flour 00
- 1 large spoonful of Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 25 gr of fresh brewer's yeast
- 1 glass of milk
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- 1 teaspoon of fine salt
- poppy seeds to taste
- sesame seeds to taste
- chia seeds to taste
METHOD
First, dissolve the brewer's yeast in a glass of warm milk.
In a separate bowl put the flour, turmeric , honey and also the two tablespoons of oil. Pour the dissolved yeast and start and mix all the ingredients with a fork, then work with your hands on the floured table, and knead very well, for several minutes, until it forms a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Return to the bowl, cut a cross on the surface and let it rise for about 45 minutes, covered with a clean cloth. It must double its volume. After the resting time, take the dough and form balls, dividing it into equal parts. Place them in a baking tray covered with parchment paper and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, turn on the oven and heat it up to 190 ° C.
Before putting them in the oven it is possible to add mixed seeds on the surface: sesame, poppy, chia.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
The integrated turmeric powder is associated with black pepper which allows a greater bioavailability of curcumin, the main component of turmeric and responsible for its beneficial properties.
