The Neem tree, Azadirachta Indica, is an ancient species, native to Burma and spread to India, Africa, Central America, the Caribbean and the Philippines. It has always been used as a healing plant, so much so that it has been called the village pharmacy.

Oil is the mainly known remedy obtained from the Neem plant, obtained by cold pressing the seeds or macerating the leaves.

It is valuable for various uses, from skin wellbeing to garden care and pest control your beloved animals.

Thanks to its properties, which are attributable to its components, five are mainly known:

  • Azadirachtin, has antiparasitic power and is concentrated in the seed of the tree. It becomes part of the metabolism of insects without creating problems for them but later blocks their natural growth, such as the hatching of the larvae and their transformation into an adult insect.

  • Salannina , found concentrated in the leaves and bark of the tree, has a repellent action against any parasites that find the tree and its leaves unattractive.

  • The repellent action is enhanced by Meliantriol , which inhibits appetite in insects.

  • Nimbina and Nimbidina which give Neem the characteristic odor of aglina.

NEEM TO PROTECT YOUR ANIMALS

How to use neem oil for animals?

Choose for your pets the version of Neem oil from seeds , richer in Azadirachtin.

FOR THE WELL-BEING OF YOUR SKIN

Neem oil obtained from both leaves and seeds is very precious as an adjuvant whenever a skin problem occurs, as it promotes healing, has antiseborrhoeic, soothing and antifungal properties.

Apply pure Neem Oil directly to the affected area in case of:

  • Foot or nail fungus (every 12 hours).
  • Hemorrhoids (after thoroughly cleansing the affected area).
