Dr. Norman Shealy, neuroscientist and founding medical researcher of the American Holistic Medical Association, performed some tests to verify the skin's ability to absorb magnesium. Given the excellent results obtained, he explains: "The transdermal approach creates tissue saturation, which allows the Magnesium to reach the tissues and cells in high doses, without losses in the gastrointestinal tract."
Magnesium has always been one of the most important minerals for the body after other elements such as oxygen, water and basic foods: it can be the most important element required by our body. Being an alkaline mineral, it helps the body to restore the acid-base balance and successfully expel waste substances.
WHAT IS DERMAL MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE ?
It is a solution of concentrated Magnesium Chloride in liquid form also containing castor oil, glutathione, vitamin B6 and lavender essential oil. The liquid formula is surprisingly safe and quick in effect. Yup apply directly to the skin , a minimum of 4 sprays, at least 3 times a day, rub lightly and let it absorb. It is advisable to spray it on the back, neck, knees or other parts of the body, avoiding the most delicate areas.
Many sports doctors use Magnesium in liquid form for massages before or after workouts, to prevent muscle injuries, aid relaxation and speed up healing times in case of contractures.
ADVANTAGES OF THE DERMAL APPLICATION:
Avoid under / overdose phenomena: the skin allows the absorption of the quantity of Magnesium needed by the body and becomes impermeable to it when the need is covered, consequently there are no contraindications and risks of overdose.
Minimizes unwanted effects : specifically, the intake of Magnesium, depending on the individual reaction, can cause more or less intense diarrhea (positive for those suffering from constipation). In the dermal form there is no passage of the mineral in the digestive tract and, therefore, there can be no type of disturbance.
It doesn't interfere with no other substance ingested, such as phytotherapics, purifiers and other intakes.
SOME USEFUL TIPS:
- If you have dry and cracked skin, we recommend diluting the Dermal Magnesium Chloride in equal parts with Sweet Almond Oil (50:50).
- You may feel a little itchy after application. This can happen in the event of an actual Magnesium deficiency and will resolve itself with constant use. If, on the other hand, you feel burning, rinse immediately and try diluting the Dermal Magnesium Chloride with Almond Oil.
- Topical application, of course, has no laxative effect.
- The skin takes about 20 minutes to absorb the liquid Magnesium solution, after which you can safely take a bath or rinse the affected area.
- Dermal Magnesium Chloride has the property of increasing cellular hydration and strengthening the skin's natural defenses.
- Never apply it in correspondence of the eyes and mucous membranes, as it could be irritating.
- If you suffer from skin abrasions, we recommend taking baths by adding 6-7 tablespoons of Magnesium Chloride powder to the hot water. This will avoid burning or discomfort caused by the high concentration of Magnesium present in the dermal spray formula.
