The scientific name of Alpha alpha is Medicago sativa , of which it still retains the meaning in its popular name, Alfalfa .
A plant that, since ancient times, has been identified as valuable for health in that, its properties are numerous.
It is considered a plant particularly suitable for regulating cholesterol levels for menopausal women , being rich in isoflavones , coumestrol and coumarins, all natural substances that regulate hormonal production within the body, and in addition it promotes the metabolism of lipids thanks to the presence of saponins.
