AUTUMN: DIFFICULT SEASON FOR JOINTS
In the months preceding winter, the climate is characterized by humidity, frequent changes in temperature and cold drafts. These factors have a major influence on the immune system and blood pressure, but the strongest impact they have on bones, muscles and cartilage. For this reason, the part of the body that is most affected is made up of the joints: old pains resurface and new ones appear, arthritis and arthrosis intensify, neuralgia, back and cervical problems.
How can you help your body?
Pay particular attention to clothing, preferably "onion", to be able to add or remove some layers according to the temperature. Choose comfortable shoes that keep your feet warm. Dry your hair very well before going out and always wear a scarf or headscarf.

Cartilage performs two functions: it acts as a shock absorber to reduce friction between two or more bones, and it provides a sliding surface to make smooth, soft and painless movement of the joint possible. This fabric, by its nature and function, undergoes severe wear but in healthy people there is a balance between the destruction of the “old” fabric and the creation of the new one. If, on the other hand, the cartilage is destroyed faster than the time it takes for the body to replace it, then osteoarthritis develops.
