RECIPE: DETOX SALAD

Heavy metals are components of the earth's crust and are naturally present in the soil, water and atmosphere in small quantities.

⁃ Use spices rich in antioxidant principles
⁃ Consume extra virgin olive oil as it contains antioxidant and purifying substances
⁃ Consume seasonal vegetables and fruit, prefer green plant extracts (for example: green apple, cucumbers, celery) rich in chlorophyll, the latter is an excellent detoxifier of the body.

Ingredients

  • green apple
  • Celery
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Lettuce
  • Songino
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Fine Himalayan salt
  • Lemon to taste
  • Kernels of walnuts
  • Olives
  • Basil leaves

Method

Prepare a bed of lettuce and songino.

Cut all the vegetables and fruit evenly.

Dress with cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, Himalayan pink salt, lemon juice and zest, walnut kernels to give the dish a crunchy note and green olives.

In addition it is possible to add basil leaves to give a summer note to the dish
